wow im back for another post after 15days of stay at tekong. learnt alot of things in tekong. had rifle stripping and assembly test, hand granade practical test, swim CAT test as well as first aid test. rifle strip took me 17seconds frm the 60seconds requirement and assembly took me 25 from the 60sec req too. i passed the swim test too, meaning i wun have to go for swimming lessons, yeah! hand grenade practical test stunted me abit cos i was abit blur of the procedures and the first aid test too, bcos its a section test, my bunk mates answered most of e qns and i answered 1 only. lol. the food there was, i would say sometimes nice sometimes not. nice when dey have fried things. the not nice part was the fish, it had a kind of weird smell thou. but overall was still ok, its not like those atrocious food our fathers had during their time. our time are considered the lucky ones.

alot of things gotta be done myself, like washing of clothes, waking up on time. now washing of clothes are relatively easy compared to the 1st time i tried lol. but the washing of No.4 uniform is a pain cos the clothing was thick.

i had a 4KM road march few days ago. it was easy but i suffered blisters on my heels and ankle thanks to the boots..zz. and i wore LBV (some kind of support vest) and vest slack (shirt and uniform bottoms) and carried a 4kg SAR21 rifle. the LBV weights about 5-6kg i guess cos of the 1L water bottle and water bag. so it adds up to the extra load. but overall the road march was easy, jus the my legs are tired after that.

i'll be throwing "live" grenade on monday. omg. i wonder how will it turn out to be. hope its ok. and "live" shooting of SAR21 at one of the weekends, thats why im in for another 2 weeks. but i cant go for field camp thanks to my PES condition.zz hope i can appeal to my commander on monday. =( God bless me for that.

and for another 2 weeks after this, i'll be posted out to unit. wonder where i will be posted to. i dunwan to be clerk thats for sure. it sucks. driver its still alright for me thou.

i went bugis yesterday wif my gf for the chicken rice balls, i wasnt feeling good thou. accompanied her to starbucks cos she wanna revise her work while i slept on the small couch. i woke up several times thou lol the whole place was cold for me. maybe im not used to the aircon there, im used to the sun at tekong perhaps haha. and she lent me her Jodi Picoult book i bought for her when i went to taiwan this May, the book was named Nineteen Minutes. i only read a small portion of the book, a long way to go, its still the introduction part of the story. i'll try to read it when i have admin time in tekong, yes im gonna bring it to tekong! hahas.

i guess i'll be leaving this blog untouched for another 15days. jus scribble wadever you guys gotta tell me in my tag box!
