today, is one of my most respectable senior's last day. perhaps the last journey in this world.

i recalled him stepping in immediately and offered help to the team right after the previous coach left. he made a gathering of all men's team and held a discussion that lasted for about 2 hours. the following week, he bcome our temporary coach, i recalled i was one of the weakest in the team, weakest in terms of physical fitness.

he devised trainings that made me feel dragonboating is tough but fun. through his trainings, together with the help other seniors, my fitness improved tremendously. i recalled during one of the circuit sprints we did at kallang, i vomited.

he ask, "hey edmund, are you ok? what did you ate in the morning?"
"erm, roti prata." i replied.

he gave me a smile, and if i'm not wrong, he told me, "next time dont eat so much ar.." or something like that. and i said,"ok!" and gave him a faint smile.

during sea trainings, we trained so effectively that i always look forward to weekends sea trainings. when i first earned my jersey, i wore it so proudly, i'm very proud to be in nypdb at that point of time.

he devised static trainings, static crunches, circuit trainings, gave us advise on food to eat and to avoid. i listened to him and did exactly what he says, and it all worked.

till now, i still cant forget his abs-exercise. i know i'm always emphasizing this, but, i feel these set of exercise is the best "anywhere, anytime" exercise.

i remembered he told the men's team this, "our school's chicken rice at food junction is nice! just $2.50 and you be full after your pull-up outside the LTs (lecture theatres)."

he left us many good and funny memories. he was a very nice person, a gentle giant.

right now, i'm sure that he is beside God.

rest in peace my dear senior, brother, friend.

always my role model dude! =D

bye bye reuben.

always in our memories. departed on 23th Nov 2007
